Mcallen, TX (south Texas border town)
How long have you been an instructor?
15 years. I became a personal trainer in 2011, a Balanced Body pilates instructor in 2013 and Lagree Fitness in 2016 and have been in love with it ever since!!! Fun fact: Sebastian Lagree was a personal trainer / Pilates instructor, who then created his own method, Lagree! So it makes sense it would become my dream workout! <3

Fave Houston restaurants/coffee shops/hangout?
I love my girls nights out trying whatever new hot restaurant Houston has opened (we will forever be B19 brunch girlies), and I am one of the top customers at Flower Child Uptown Park (mac n cheese please). Walking Biggie through River Oaks shopping center. It provides such a fun, small outdoor community vibe. Sunday Texans games, Astros opening day game and all the live music!
Fave cheat meal/snack/cocktail:
Chips/salsa/queso and spicy skinny margarita, gourmet pizzas, gummi bears, slightly dirty gin martini
As an instructor, what do you think are your most powerful, unique traits that you offer to your clients?
I've always been told I have a high level of patience. I think it transfers over to a room of clients in a way they really appreciate and feel comfortable. I'm a stickler when it comes to form. Firm believer in providing a routine that is effective and has a purpose. Just because it's “hard” doesn't mean it's effective. Also, being personable. I love being part of their personal lives, from weddings, babies, birthdays etc. I view my clients as family. I see them more on a weekly basis than anyone except Biggie, lol.

As an instructor, what do you think are your most powerful, unique traits that you offer to your clients?
As an instructor, I lead with purpose, energy, and intention. When I work out, I want it to be worth my time and energy—and I know my clients feel the same way. That mindset drives how I show up in every class. We all walk into the studio for different reasons: different goals, different challenges, and different seasons of life. My goal is to create a space that meets you where you are—but doesn’t let you stay there. I design classes that are intentionally challenging, but always encouraging. I want to push you, not punish you. For 50 minutes, I want you to feel focused, strong, and capable. I want you to sweat with purpose, connect to your body, and walk out high on endorphins—knowing it was absolutely worth it.

Favorite Houston things to do/restaurants/coffee shops/hangouts?
I’m currently falling head over heels for golf – learning the game one swing at a time. I’m also a water baby at heart: give me a pool, beach, or lake and I’m in my element. For eats, it’s Lupe Tortilla on Hwy 6 – best sandbox for the kiddos, and queso + margs = mama’s reward!
Fave cheat meal/snack/cocktail?
I can’t resist chewy fruity candy – definitely not dentist-approved but sooo worth it. And for cocktails? A good ol’ Old Fashioned (hold the simple syrup, please!).
As an instructor, what do you think are your most powerful, unique traits that you offer to your clients?
I bring high energy and a lot of encouragement—but what really sets me apart is how closely I watch form, alignment, and individual needs. I’m a twin mom and a Type 1 Diabetic, and my journey through both has deeply shaped how I approach fitness today.
During my twin pregnancy in 2019, I gained 75 pounds, and I truly believe that the deep core work on the Megaformer helped me avoid Diastasis Recti. After giving birth, I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, which sent me on a whole new journey of learning about my body, hormones, insulin resistance, and how all of that impacts fitness and recovery.
Through this experience, I’ve developed a deep understanding that every body is unique and constantly changing. I design each workout with purpose—ensuring clients feel empowered, safe, and successful, regardless of their starting point. Whether it's modifying moves or challenging clients with heavier weights, I meet them where they are and help them move forward, stronger.
